Thrive ~ to grow, develop vigorously, flourish ~, I don’t know of any other company name that best exemplifies THE CHANNEL! And it’s not just a name, it’s our culture.
I’m now starting month 3 here and coming to Thrive wasn’t a coincidence or just another option; As I was focusing on what I really wanted from the next phase of my career, to continue learning, moving to the most relevant technology, and to prosper, I wrote down a few things on my office blackboard as I often do; What industries and which companies? Without knowing if they had openings, I did what I always do and I reached out and started some conversations. Fast forward to today and probably only a handful of people are aware of this, but Thrive was on the top of the list! Why? People, Culture, Professionalism, Product, Reputation, oh, and did I say the people? Through the years I’ve gotten to know many in the Thrive family, our CEO started many years ago as a channel partner and our CRO has been in the channel for over 20 years. They get it!
Over the past few months, the Channel has been on fire. We continue to rapidly expand our network of transacting partners and are thrilled by the responses we get about our approach and commitment to understand each partners business to maximize success. We have added 3 Channel VPs, 4 new Channel Directors, have an open head count out west, and a beefed up our channel support team with 5 inside channel managers to support the team in the trenches. Our model of selling for the Partner, with the Partner, or simply supporting the Sales Partners is a winning combination. We understand that many Sales Partners aren’t comfortable, yet, with selling Security. We get it! We’re in this together and with some coaching, Thrive can teach you the questions to open the door, let us get in there and close the deal for you all while teaching you the process. We’ll make sure you are getting “comfortable with the uncomfortable”.
Over the coming months the Thrive team will be crossing the country evangelizing the Security and Cloud message not only as ambassadors of the Thrive brand but to raise the ocean for everyone in the Security and Cloud Space. I couldn’t be more excited to be part of this team and we look forward to working with you all and taking this industry to the next level!
